Cory Howe - Junior Football Head Coach

Coach Cory Howe is in his second year as a head coach with Walton-Verona Youth Football Association.  In 2018, Coach Howe led the competitive Midget Football Team and is stepping up into the Junior Football Head Coach in 2019.  He resides in Walton with his wife, Julie, and their children.


Brad Hammond - Midget Football Head Coach

Coach Brad Hammond is joining the Walton-Verona Youth Football Association as Midget Head Coach in 2019.  Coach Hammond has several years experience as an assistant coach for WVYFA.  He resides in Glencoe with his wife and children.


Ben Ryan - Starter Football Head Coach

Coach Ben Ryan is joining the Walton-Verona Youth Football Association as Starter Head Coach in 2019.  In 2018, Coach Ryan assisted the Starter team and he has many years of playing experience.  He resides in Walton with his wife, Cassie, and their two children.


Rusty Wentworth - Flag Football Head Coach

Coach Rusty Wentworth is joining the Walton-Verona Youth Football Association as Flag Head Coach in 2019.  In 2018, Coach Wentworth was an assistant coach for the flag team.  In addition to his previous experience with WVYFA, he has many years playing experience, and 9 years of flag football coaching experience.  He resides in Walton with his family.

Tara Daugherty - Midget Cheerleading Head Coach

Coach Tara Daugherty is returning as head coach of the Midget Cheerleading Squad for the 2019 season.  In addition to her coaching experience with WVYFA, Coach Tara is a former collegiate cheerleader.  She resides in Walton with her husband, Chris, and their 3 children.


Wendy Merrill - Starter Cheerleading Head Coach

Coach Wendy Merrill is joining the Walton-Verona Youth Football Association as head coach of the Starter Cheer Squad in 2019.  Coach Merrill, a former cheerleader, is excited about the season ahead.  She resides in Walton with her husband and children.


Vacant - Spirit Squad Head Coach

We have a vacancy for our 2019 Spirit Squad Head Coaching position.  If you are interested in leading our 3-5 year old cheerleaders in a fun non-competitive season, please reach out to wvyfapresident@gmail.com as soon as possible.
